STEP 2 - DESIGN CONSULTATION
Here's where we create a detailed lifestyle brief for your home remodel. We map how you actually live. How many people use the space, how you cook, where the household gathers, what storage you are missing, and what fails in the current layout. This is the document every later decision gets measured against.
STEP 3 - CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
We start with as-built drawings, then develop layout options for your review. You see the trade-offs of each, not just one recommendation. 3D renderings let you walk the space before anything is committed.
STEP 4 - PERMIT SET + REMODEL PLANNING
This is the phase most homeowners do not know exists, and it is where projects are won or lost. We define the scope of work, build a realistic material budget, coordinate the architectural set, and submit plans to the city. By the end of phase one, you have a complete package a contractor can bid accurately.
We have established partnerships with a few exceptional contractors in the SF Bay Area we collaborate with.
STEP 5 - FINISH MATERIAL SCHEDULE
We specify every finished material the build requires: flooring, windows, doors, cabinetry, tile, countertops, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and hardware. Not styling, a working schedule with specs, quantities, and lead times so materials arrive when the trades need them. We visit vendors with you and guide the choices on style, quality, durability, and value.
STEP 6 - CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
During a project there are often small (or big!) changes that you might make. We’ll work with you during the entire process and stay involved to make sure everything is going smoothly. We will work closely with the contractor to ensure materials are on site when needed and installed as envisioned.
